Jeeves, located at Kortenaerkade 3C, 2518 AX The Hague, is responsible for the processing of personal data as reflected in this privacy statement.
Jeeves values your privacy and will treat visitors' personal data with care. We therefore confirm that personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable legislation. This Privacy Statement describes how Jeeves treats, collects and uses personal data. By ''personal data'' should be understood pieces of information that can be used to identify or trace a real existing (natural) person.
Personal data we process
Jeeves receives, collects, processes and stores your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. In addition, we collect the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet. We process personal data such as first and last name, address details, telephone number, e-mail address, payment details (including credit card information) and IP address.
Purpose of processing personal data
Jeeves may only use personal information for business or other lawful purposes, such as handling your payment, sending our newsletter and/or advertising folder, calling or e-mailing you if necessary to carry out our services, informing you about changes to our services and products, to deliver goods and services to you and to comply with any applicable laws and regulations.
Storage and deletion of personal data
When we process personal information, we aim to process as little personal data as possible. Jeeves may only collect personal information that is adequate, relevant and not excessive. We will also destroy or delete irrelevant or excessive data in a secure manner. Jeeves is committed to good personal data security. Therefore, we have appropriate security measures in place to protect your personal data and prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, use, modification and deletion. Your data will be kept as long as it is necessary to provide our services and offer the best service, but never longer than 5 years.
Disclosure of data to third parties
Jeeves does not provide personal information to third parties. Personal data may be exchanged within the entities of Jeeves (i.e. Jeeves Group B.V., Jeeves Contract B.V., Jeeves Technologies B.V. and/or Jeeves Projects B.V.). However, some services we provide require the involvement of third parties. We have carefully selected these third parties and taken the legally required measures to ensure that your personal data are adequately protected. Personal data is only made available to these third parties to the extent that this third party needs this data to perform the relevant services. This third party, the processor, is obliged to act only on Jeeves' instructions, not to disclose personal data without specific authorisation, to implement adequate operational and technical security measures and to allow Jeeves to monitor compliance. We may disclose your personal data to third parties, such as regulators and law enforcement agencies, if we are required to do so by law or when necessary in relation to the prevention and detection of fraud, other criminal offences and/or to ensure network and information security.

The cookies we use are necessary for the technical functioning of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remember your preferences. They also allow us to optimise our website. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser to no longer store cookies. You can also delete any information previously stored via your browser settings.
View, modify or delete personal data
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Jeeves. You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to info@jeeves.furniture. To ensure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Jeeves would also like to inform you that you have the opportunity to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Personal Data Authority.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
